December 16, 2025 — The holiday season in Clovis will get an energetic start Saturday, Dec. 20, as the Clovis Rudolph Run brings runners and walkers of all ages to the Old Town Trail for a morning of fitness, costumes and seasonal cheer.

The annual, family-friendly event offers several participation options, including a competitive 5K run/walk, a 5K fun run/walk, a 2-mile run/walk and a virtual 5K for those who want to take part from anywhere. All race options are designed to be accessible for beginners, families and seasoned runners alike.

The course will feature holiday decorations, music and festive surprises along the route. Participants will receive themed swag, including antlers, a Rudolph sweatshirt and a finisher medal, while supplies last. A hot cocoa bar will be available at the finish line to help participants warm up and celebrate after completing their race.

Costumes are encouraged, with contests planned for both individuals and teams. Prizes will be awarded for the best holiday-themed outfits, and an additional prize will recognize the largest team participating in the event, making it an ideal outing for families, coworkers, school groups and running clubs.

Special pricing is available for children 12 and under, and teams of five or more can receive a per-person discount. Event organizers note that registration by Monday night is required to guarantee a Rudolph hoodie or sweatshirt, with additional apparel available after the cutoff only while supplies last.

Beyond the festive atmosphere, the Clovis Rudolph Run also supports a local cause. Proceeds from the event benefit Poverello House, which provides food, shelter and essential services to individuals and families in need throughout the community.

Registration is currently open, and early sign-up is encouraged. More information, including start times, pricing and registration details, can be found through the Clovis Rudolph Run website.
