November 24, 2025 — Bright capes fluttered through the November breeze as families filed into the Clovis Elks Lodge on Saturday, some carrying action figures under their arms, others adjusting wigs, face paint or foam-crafted armor. By late morning, the banquet hall had transformed into a kaleidoscope of fandom—equal parts nostalgia, creativity, and community spirit—as the Clovis Toy-Anime-Comic Con welcomed visitors for its 2025 event.

Running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the family-friendly convention drew a steady crowd of collectors, cosplayers, and first-time attendees eager to browse vendor tables stacked with comics, figurines, handcrafted art, and vintage toys. With free parking, open photography policies, and complimentary admission for children 10 and under, many families treated the event as an easy weekend outing.

The hall buzzed with energy leading up to the 2:30 p.m. cosplay contest, one of the day’s most anticipated highlights. Participants of all ages lined up near the admissions table to sign in, some posing for photos as they waited. From armored superheroes to anime characters to clever homemade costumes, the parade of creativity brought cheers from the audience.

Organizers said they were pleased with the turnout, noting that many guests took advantage of the $1 discount for mentioning the event flyer. Admission was set at $8, with payment options ranging from cash to credit to Apple Pay, making the entry process smooth even during the busy early afternoon rush.

By mid-afternoon, kids clutched new collectibles, adults chatted with artists about custom work, and cosplayers gathered for group photos before heading out. For many, the event was more than a marketplace—it was a chance to meet others who share the same love for comics, gaming, anime, and pop culture.

Held at Clovis Elks Lodge 2599 on Woodworth Avenue, this year’s Toy-Anime-Comic Con once again delivered a welcoming space where fandom flourished and imagination took center stage.
