April 30, 2025 — Clovis will once again come together to honor the brave sacrifices of our military, veterans, first responders, and their families at the annual Carry the Load Walk on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025. The community is invited to participate in this meaningful event, demonstrating their gratitude and unwavering support for those who serve our nation and communities.
The walk will commence at 6:00 PM at Railroad Park, located at 805 N. Peach Ave in Clovis. Participants will embark on a walk along the picturesque Clovis Trail, providing an opportunity for reflection and camaraderie. The journey will culminate at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District Park, where a special remembrance ceremony will be held to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by these heroes and their loved ones.
This annual Carry the Load event offers a powerful way for the Clovis community to visibly express their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of those who put their lives on the line. It’s a chance to stand in solidarity and show that their sacrifices are not forgotten.
