The Fresno County Department of Public Health confirmed 22 additional cases of COVID-19 and the county’s third death April 7.
The FCDPH confirmed 146 total cases of COVID-19. Information on the third death was not made publicly available.
Thirty-six of the confirmed cases were travel-related, 25 cases were spread person-to-person, 37 were community-spread and the remaining 48 are still under investigation.
For the first time since the breakout began, the FCDPH released a city-by-city breakdown of coronavirus cases.
The City of Fresno tops the chart with 93 cases and Clovis is in second 15 cases. Other cities include Firebaugh (12 cases), Sanger (seven cases) and Reedley (six cases).
Ten other Fresno County Communities, including Kerman, Fowler, Parlier and Kingsburg, had four or fewer cases.
Fresno’s neighboring counties continue to see more cases each day.
As of Wednesday morning, Madera County reported 30 cases and 2 deaths, Merced County reported 34 cases and 3 deaths, Tulare county reported 157 cases and six deaths and Kings County reported five cases.
