Dec. 1, 2025 — PRO~PT Physical Therapy, a physical therapist-owned and operated private practice, announced the appointment of David Harris as CEO and the opening of its 20th Central Valley location in South Fresno. The two milestones come on the heels of a record year-over-year growth for the company and signify a new phase of intentional, accelerated expansion.

“David will apply his more than 26 years of experience in the physical therapy industry and lessons learned growing healthcare organizations to scale PRO~PT across California while maintaining the values and culture that set us apart,” said Todd Martin, who will continue to serve as PRO~PT’s President. “PRO~PT delivers a ‘second to none’ experience across every touchpoint, and under David’s leadership, we will continue to scale — bringing high-quality care to more communities while maintaining the excellence that makes us special.”

Since 2001, PRO~PT has developed a reputation for delivering the highest quality care, serving more than 50,000 people in 2025 alone. PRO~PT has been serving patients and physicians for 24 years and has been featured for five consecutive years on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for growth. The company’s success is supported by its commitment to transparency, which ensures every interaction feels reliable, supportive, and exceptional for both patients and physicians. From scheduling to treatment to clear, upfront costs, there are no surprises or hidden fees.

“I’m thrilled to be joining PRO~PT at such an important time for the company and the community. The demand for PRO~PT is undeniable, and our growth is in direct response to the critical need for accessibility and affordable treatment options,” said David Harris, CEO, PRO~PT. “In my new role, I plan to expand our ‘people-first’ culture, starting with a new office in South Fresno, and continue to bring high-quality physical therapy closer to where people live and work.”

Although physical therapy is recognized as one of the most cost-effective and least invasive ways to get back to living a full life, only 10 – 12% of those who need these services actually receive them. Convenience plays a big role and is often one of the biggest barriers for people. Treatments that require patients to miss work or travel two or three times a week are less likely to follow through.

PRO~PT’s South Fresno location will open January 1, 2026, and marks its 20th location throughout the Central Valley. The company plans to continue to scale, providing high-quality physical therapy closer to where people live and work.
