July 29, 2025 – The spirit of community giving is alive and well in Clovis, as the Clovis Country Lions Club recently made a generous $500 donation to Slick Rick’s Barber Shop’s 4th Annual Backpack Project. This continued support helps local students get ready for the upcoming school year with essential supplies.
Slick Rick’s Barber Shop, a beloved local business, expressed its gratitude on social media, stating, “Want to give a special thanks to the Clovis Country Lions Club for their annual donation to our annual backpack event.”
This marks the fourth year of the successful backpack giveaway, which began as an initiative by Slick Rick’s Barber Shop to bring the community together and support families in need.
