Clovis man dies in two-vehicle collision at Fresno County intersection

July 11, 2025 — A 34-year-old Clovis man died Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of DeWolf and South avenues in Fresno County. The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 2:35 p.m.

The Clovis man, identified as Brian Sepe, was driving a Subaru northbound on DeWolf Avenue. As he approached a posted stop sign, he failed to yield and entered the intersection. At the same time, a 55-year-old Parlier man was driving a Ford eastbound on South Avenue, which does not have a stop sign.

The front of the Ford collided with the left side of the Subaru, resulting in the death of the Clovis man. The driver of the Ford sustained moderate injuries.

Both drivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts, and investigators do not suspect alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
