Clovis Tractor Supply Stores to host holiday pet adoption event

Find your new furry family member this holiday season! Tractor Supply’s “Home for the Holidays” pet adoption event brings adoptable pets, Santa photos, and festive fun to both Clovis locations on Dec. 13.

December 5, 2025 — The holiday spirit is coming to both Clovis Tractor Supply locations as they prepare to host a “Home for the Holidays” pet adoption event on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family-friendly event is part of a statewide initiative across 29 stores aimed at helping rescue animals find permanent homes during the season of giving.

Each Clovis store will partner with local rescue organizations to showcase adoptable pets. The Herndon Avenue store, located at 1630 Herndon Ave., will welcome animals from Rescue Tails. At the Shaw Avenue location, 3682 E. Shaw Ave., families can meet pets from ACT Animal Compassion Team and Labrador Retriever Rescue.

“Caring for pets and serving the Clovis community are at the core of what we do,” said Jerry Gillin, district manager for the Clovis stores. “Home for the Holidays lets us celebrate our customers and connect more animals with families ready to love them.”

Patrick Henley, regional vice president, added that the event reflects Tractor Supply’s commitment to animal welfare and community support. “It’s a way to show appreciation for our customers during a season of giving while helping animals in need find their forever homes,” he said.

Alongside pet meet-and-greets, attendees can take part in several festive activities, including:

“Buy a Bag, Donate a Bag” – For every bag of Purina Pro Plan purchased, Tractor Supply will donate an additional bag to participating rescues.
Pet Photos with Santa – Owners can snap holiday-themed portraits with their pets.
Kid’s Ornament Craft – Children can decorate Christmas ornaments with stickers and other craft materials while supplies last.

Each completed adoption also comes with a $25 Tractor Supply gift card to help new pet parents get started with supplies. Staff members will be on hand to assist adopters in choosing food, treats, toys, bedding and other pet essentials.

Tractor Supply, known as the nation’s largest rural lifestyle retailer, continues its long-standing support for animal care through its stores, Petsense locations and online pharmacy brand Allivet.
