October 2, 2025 — Clovis Veterans Memorial District Board Chairman Tom Wright has been re-elected to the Special District Risk Management Authority (SDRMA) Board of Directors, securing another four-year term representing special districts across California.
The election, which featured five candidates competing for four seats, concluded with official results announced Sept. 25. Wright’s new term will run from Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2029.
Wright, who has long served the Clovis Veterans Memorial District, will continue his leadership role at the state level. District officials said his re-election highlights both his commitment to strengthening special districts and his dedication to advancing SDRMA’s mission of safety, sustainability, and effective governance.
“We are proud to see Chairman Wright continue serving in this important capacity,” the District said in a statement. “His voice ensures the values of community and safety remain central to the work of special districts statewide.”
The SDRMA provides risk management solutions and resources to special districts, ranging from insurance services to training programs that support local governance. By returning to the board, Wright will help shape policies that impact agencies across California while also representing the interests of the Central Valley.
His re-election ensures that Clovis continues to have a voice in statewide decision-making at a time when special districts are increasingly vital to local communities.
