August 29, 2025 — The vibrant beats of the Central Valley now have a new home in Clovis. Fresno DJ Company, a full-service entertainment company specializing in weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, and more, officially celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The event marked a new chapter for the business, which has relocated to a more central location at 635 Barstow Ave., #23.
Matthew and Christina White, the husband-and-wife team behind the company, were joined by members of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, and local dignitaries, including Bong Manatua and Nathan Magsi. The strong turnout from both the community and city officials highlighted the warm welcome the business has received since planting its roots in Clovis.
“It’s amazing to have the support of the city, especially the Chamber,” Matthew White said during the event. “They were very welcoming. And having the support of Bong Manatua, Nathan Magsi, and the whole community as a whole has been really great to have.”
The company’s journey began as a hobby in 2018 before transitioning into a full-time venture three and a half years ago. To date, Fresno DJ Company has orchestrated over 500 events, driven by a passion for music and serving people. For Matthew, the decision to turn his passion into a full-time career was fueled by a love for his craft and a deep-seated pride in the Fresno and Clovis communities. “I love people. I love serving people, and I love music,” he explained. “Putting those two things together is why I started Fresno DJ Company, and especially it being Fresno DJ Company, having a pride in the city and everything that encompasses the valley as a whole.”
Choosing Clovis as their new home was a natural fit. Matthew, a Clovis East High School alumnus, noted the location’s centrality for meeting with clients. “We were in Fresno, and we planted here in Clovis… This was kind of central to where we meet with clients the most, and that’s what was our idea in moving out here.”
Behind the scenes, the success of Fresno DJ Company is built on a client-centric philosophy. It’s more than just playing music; it’s about curating a unique experience for each event. The Whites emphasized that their process involves weekly consultations with clients to ensure their vision comes to life. “Our thing is, like I said, client-centered, we don’t play for us, we play for them,” Matthew said, highlighting a key differentiator from other DJ companies.
This commitment to their clients is evident in their mission: “making memories through music.” The company’s office even features photos of past clients on the walls, a testament to the personal connection they strive to build with every event.
When asked about the most popular music to get a crowd on the dance floor, Matthew noted that it varies from week to week, ranging from Latin hits like “Lahoa” to classic party anthems like “Staying Alive.” However, his personal favorite events to play are weddings. “We love getting to be a part of that story. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime event… We love being a part of a couple’s story.”
The grand opening celebration showcased the energy and dedication that Fresno DJ Company brings to its work. With a strong start in their new Clovis home and an enthusiastic response from the community, the Whites are set to continue their mission of creating unforgettable memories, one beat at a time.
