December 4, 2025 — Families across the Central Valley have a festive reason to mark their calendars: the Clovis Veterans Memorial District is hosting its annual Here Comes Santa Claus celebration on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This beloved, free holiday event promises an afternoon filled with music, crafts, and holiday cheer for all ages.
The festivities kick off at 2:00 p.m. with the AUSA Sounds of Freedom Band Holiday Concert, offering a live performance of classic seasonal favorites that will set a joyful tone for the day. After the concert, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m., families can explore a wide array of holiday activities designed to create lasting memories.
Children will have the chance to meet Santa and receive a free photo, sip hot chocolate, decorate cookies, and craft their own ornaments to take home. Additional hands-on fun, including festive face painting, ensures there’s something for everyone in the family.
“This event reflects our mission to celebrate service, strengthen community connections, and honor the values and traditions that make Clovis special,” said Taylor Chavez, Public Relations and Communications Specialist for the Clovis Veterans Memorial District.
Here Comes Santa Claus also offers a unique opportunity for the community to engage with a local holiday tradition, showcasing the district’s dedication to preserving a legacy of service while creating joyful experiences for families.
