April 24, 20-24 – Bull rider Roscoe Jarboe (New Plymouth, ID) won the Clovis Xtreme Bulls and a check for $12,500, winning the first place title out of 47 riders. During the first round of bull riding, Jarboe scored 82 points. During his final round, Jarboe scored 89.5 points on Corey & Lange Rodeo’s Pretty Boy.
The excitement continues on Thursday, April 25, with the first full night of PRCA Rodeo performances, showcasing bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, and more. The evening will culminate with a concert by country music artist Michael Ray.
Friday, April 26, will see another round of Rodeo performances, accompanied by a concert featuring country star Matt Stell. Additionally, attendees can explore the Black Hawk helicopter on display in the Rodeo parking lot, courtesy of the Army National Guard.
On Saturday, April 27, the action starts with the annual Rodeo Parade down Old Town Clovis at 9:30 AM, followed by more PRCA Rodeo performances beginning at 2 PM. The day will include a special salute to veterans and a US Military flyover. Check presentations will also be made to the Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation and the Fresno State Veterans.
The Clovis Rodeo will conclude on Sunday, April 28, with the Kids Special Rodeo at 11 AM in partnership with Break the Barrier at the rodeo grounds. The final rodeo performance will begin at 2 PM, featuring the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” theme. Sunday will also include check presentations to Clovis Community Hospital and the Fresno Sheriffs Foundation.
